Looking for a Home 

Most dogs being offered for adoption have not been evaluated by the John Nelsen Rescue Fund and as such, the Fund offers no opinion concerning their temperament or health. We strongly advise that anyone considering adoption consult their vet, or a professional animal behaviorist or trainer with any questions relating to health or temperament.

 To find dogs in your area, click on the state below.

If a dog is marked PENDING, the adoptive home has been informed that their match has been approved and arrangements to meet the dog have been made.  Should that match not work for all concerned, the dog will be re-listed for adoption.

Can't adopt right now?  Maybe you would like to sponsor one of the adoptable dogs to make sure he or she has everything she needs to find that special home.
