The activities of JNMRF would be underestimated if one were to look only at those dogs listed under “Looking for a Home”.   At any given time, we have elkhounds not yet ready for adoption that are healing from injuries, being treated for heartworms or recovering from other ailments.  And once in a while, particularly in this economy – when we receive too many dogs into our system for the number of foster homes - there may be a few that are simply waiting in boarding for their turn to get on the Looking for a Home pages.  Here are a few that are waiting in the wings and getting ready to find their furever home.   If you think you are interested in one of these dogs, please complete the adoption application and mention your interest.  We will not be able to answer questions about these dogs without your application in hand.
